Acting Wallkill Tax Receiver Linda Harahan’s office will be open until 7 p.m. Wednesday, to let people who have trouble paying their property taxes during daytime business hours pay them.
Payments are due by the end of January, after which penalties are assessed for late payment.
The office is at the Town Hall on Tower Drive.
