Two area natives on Animal Planet parasite show

Two Orange County natives were recently featured in the Animal Planet show “Monsters Inside Me,” which tells the story of people infected by deadly parasites.

B.D. Anthony, of Middletown, played a Southern construction worker who fell ill with lung fluke after eating a raw crayfish while on a fishing trip. Sean O’Brien, of Chester, played one of his buddies who goaded him into eating the crayfish, according to Goshen-based Willy Gilly Productions. Both Anthony and O’Brien graduated from the Acting Anyone Academy and are managed by MaxforManagement, both divisions of Willy Gilly.

The segment, “I almost killed my baby!,” was filmed in September in Brooklyn and aired on Dec. 18. It will air again during the “Monsters Inside Me” marathon later in January.
