Unison to host acting workshop for adults

Unison Arts Center in New Paltz is throwing its hat into the acting class ring, beginning its Scene Study workshop at 7 p.m. Sept. 11.

Christine Crawfis, managing director of Mohonk Mountain Stage Company and executive director of Unison, will run the workshop, which is a practice performance course for adult actors. Open rehearsals will lead to a presentation of scenes on the last day of class.

The class runs through December. Cost is $60 for members, $90 for non-members. For information, visit unisonarts.org.
