A quick primer for your Woodstock Film Festival ticket purchasing adventure

As you may or may not know, tickets are now on sale for the Woodstock Film Festival. Get your tickets here.

And there is where you’ll find the handy dandy schedule, with times and locations for screenings and panels, concerts and parties. It’s comforting to see that page, as the festival has basically used that schedule for the last 5-6 years, at least (to my knowledge).

Tuesday is the launch party for the festival, held at Libation NYC. We’ll be there. After that we’ll run down what to see, who to meet and what looks awesome. Til then, go by instinct: the Sonny Rollins doc should be awesome … always look for the gritty urban movies (they’re chosen well at Woodstock) … and animation is a huge strength. See the animated shorts. That’s a must.
