Free parking will be available beginning at 10 a.m. and the stadium gates will open at 11 a.m. The Yankees are scheduled to take batting practice at 12:30 p.m. First pitch is slated for 2:26 p.m.
“We are thrilled to revisit the tradition of holding a major league exhibition game at West Point,” said Army Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. “In order to share this experience with those living within the West Point community and the entire Hudson Valley area, we are bringing in portable bleachers to increase the capacity of Johnson Stadium from the existing total of 824 to a figure that will exceed 5,000. Unfortunately, it is expensive to utilize this type of service so the revenue drawn from the ticket sales of this event will go directly towards offsetting the expenses we will incur through the bleacher rental process.”
