Gleason’s NFL picks, Week 14

So it was bound to happen: a losing record, that is.

Suffered my first sub-.500 record since Week 8, which isn’t bad, and the good news is that it represented the best possible sub-.500 record at 7-9 (that’s right, I’m going all glass-half-full on you).

And hey, I posted my standard 2-1 best-bets record, improving to a sparkling 25-13-1 in BBs on the season. Come on, admit it — that ain’t bad against the spread.

Onto the rest of Week 14 after losing the Steelers-Browns game by a field goal in a virtually unwatchable Thursday nighter.

Houston plus 3 at Cincinnati

Detroit minus 9.5 vs. Minnesota

Tennessee plus 3.5 vs. New Orleans

Philadelphia plus 3 at Miami

NEW ENGLAND minus 8 at Washington

ATLANTA minus 3 at Carolina

Jacksonville plus 3 vs. Tampa Bay

Baltimore minus 16.5 vs. Indianapolis

Denver minus 3 vs. Chicago

Arizona plus 4 vs. San Francisco

Oakland plus 12 at Green Bay

San Diego minus 7 vs. Buffalo

GIANTS plus 4.5 at Dallas

Jets minus 10.5 vs. Kansas City

Seattle minus 10 vs. St. Louis

(Thursday result not included)

Last week’s record: 7-9

Season record: 94-90-8

Last week’s best-bets record: 2-1

Season best-bets record: 25-13-1
