Looking back at last week’s selections, I must have been on medication. I can’t believe some of those picks I made.
Tennessee plus 3.5 vs. Chicago (51-20 Bears)? Really? Did I pick that?
Oakland minus 1.5 vs. Tampa Bay (42-32 Bucs)? Was that me?
It all added up to a hapless 5-9 week.
On the flip side, my best bets were GOLDEN for the third straight week. I have now hit nine straight — count ‘em nine straight — best bets to push over .500 in at least one category.
Onto Week 10 after stealing an easy win with Indianapolis giving Jacksonville 3 on Thursday night. (Yes, I forgot to post it. You will have to take my word for it unless you don’t want to take my word for it. In that case, you can report me to the NFL Prognostications Investigative Committee, of which I’m chairman.)
