Well, I wound up plus-40 on my imaginary 200-unit bankroll for the playoffs.
I picked a handful of teams per odds supplied by Bovada (www.Bovada.lv,; Twitter: @BovadaLV). I thought the Broncos and Patriots would survive in the AFC, but gave a big shot to the Ravens, and thus collected 220 units (20 units at 11-1 odds) on them winning the conference title.
That allowed me to clinch a tidy 40-unit profit despite losing my other six plays. The results:
20 units on Ravens at 11/1 to win AFC title: +220
20 units on Texans at 7/1 to win AFC title: -20
35 units on Patriots at 8/5 to win AFC title: -35
20 units on Packers at 10/3 to win NFC title: -20
20 units on Seahawks at 11/2 to win NFC title: -20
35 units on Falcons at 5/2 to win NFC title: -35
50 units on Patriots at 4/1 to win the Super Bowl: -50
