High school hockey polls, Feb. 16

The latest New York State boys’ ice hockey polls were released this week. Monroe-Woodbury, the only local team on the list, is No. 7 in the Division I rankings. For the full list, click here.

2011-12 NYSSWA rankings (through Feb. 12)

Division I

1. West Genesee-3 (20-0-0)
2. Pittsford-5 (18-2-0)
3. Suffern-1 (15-2-2)
7. Monroe-Woodbury (15-1-2)

Division II

1. Kenmore East-6 (13-2-1)
2. Williamsville East-6 (15-5-0)
3. Salmon River-10 (13-3-2)

Marco Spisso, a native of Highland Falls, skated in his 100th game for Bridgton Academy (Maine). The captain of this year’s Jr. A hockey team, Spisso has 20 goals and 45 assists in his two-year career at Bridgton.
