Six track athletes to compete at J.O. Nationals

Six local high school athletes will be competing at the USA Track and Field National Junior Olympics championships in Baltimore from July 23-29. Morgan State University is the host school.
Warwick pole vaulter Todd Uckermark is the second seed in the boys’ intermediate division at 13 feet, 5 ¾ inches. In the girls’ young division, Red Hook’s Grace Weisbecker is the 11th seed at 10 feet, 11 ¼ inches and Goshen’s Marisa Robbins is the 23rd seed at 10 feet, 5 ½ inches.
Also in the young division, Ellenville’s Danielle Borriello is the 13th seed in the hammer throw at 124 feet, 7 ½ inches; Cornwall’s Brittany Bryant is the fifth seed in the long jump at 18 feet, 8 inches; and, Port Jervis’ Kalissa Caesar is the 21st seed in the 100-meter dash at 12.36 seconds.
