A few games to watch this week:

Wednesday

  • Tuxedo at Chester, 6:30 p.m.

Both of these teams own recent wins over Tri-Valley. Tuxedo needs a win to stay in the division race. This could be a potential Section 9 Class C championship game preview, but there are plenty of other strong C teams out there.

Millbrook is coming off a string of tough losses to Marlboro and John A. Coleman Catholic.

Also on Wednesday night, Fallsburg plays at Tri-Valley in another interesting Division V game.

Friday

  • Washingtonville at Warwick, 6:30 p.m.
  • Minisink Valley at Valley Central, 7 p.m.

It will be a big night for Division II as all four teams square off on Friday.

Warwick is coming off a big win over Minisink Valley and could be the only team left in the division with two losses if it beats Washingtonville.

Minisink Valley and Valley Central are both solid teams, but one of them will be 2-4 in the division after this one. No matter what happens on Friday, we’ll have one team at 4-2, two at 3-3 and one at 2-4.
