The MHAL boys’ basketball final, pitting Marlboro and Pine Plains in a rematch of the 2012 game, begins at 7 p.m.

Wallkill vs. Onteora girls, 5 p.m.
Starters for Wallkill: Rachel Simon, Chelsea Murphy, Kelly Markisello, Heather Kiczek and Lisa Bouffard.
Starters for Onteora: Julia Occhi, Adrianna Decicco, Kelly Ambrosch, Kaitlyn King and Rachel Bortin.

END FIRST QUARTER: Wallkill 13, Onteora 6. Onteroa responded with a 6-point run after falling behind by 11 to start the game.

Wallkill up 19-10 with 5:59 left in the second. Onteora in the bonus, though.
10 seconds left until the half. Wallkill up 28-16. Panthers called timeout and have possession for one last shot.

END THIRD QUARTER: Wallkill 41, Onteora 27. It’s not over, but Wallkill has been pretty dominant throughout here. Onteora hasn’t had much action in the post on the offensive end at all.

Starters for Pine Plains: Justin Cooper, Dakota Pizaai, Adam Miller, Tyler Lydon and Zach Lydon.
Marlboro leads, 11-10 with 2:30 left in the first.
END FIRST QUARTER: Pine Plains 12, Marlboro 11. Solid game so far. Neither team really taking control.
Pine Plains taking the lead in the second, Bombers ahead, 14-11.

AT THE HALF: Pine Plains 23, Marlboro 22. Marlboro took as 22-20 lead on two straight buckets by Alex Smith, but Pine Plains’s Justin Cooper hit a trey to put the Bombers up by one.

END THIRD QUARTER: Tamburri with a steal and a coast-to-coast layup to beat the buzzer, giving Marlboro a 35-33 lead with eight minutes to play. Great finish looming here.
