Final girls basketball state rankings in Classes C and D

The New York State Sportswriters Association released its final rankings for girls’ basketball in Classes C and D.

Tuxedo winds up at No. 9 in Class C and is the only Section 9 team to make the top 20.

Livingston Manor, with an impressive first half showing in a state semifinal against state runner-up Oriskany, ends at No. 9 in the Class D poll.

The rankings in Classes AA, A and B are subject to change based on the results of this weekend’s Federation Tournament of Champions in Albany, but here is where our Section 9 teams are ranked as of now.

Class AA

19. Monroe-Woodbury

Class A

12. Wallkill

Class B

10. John A. Coleman Catholic
