Warwick boys lax beats Valley Central: Video

MONTGOMERY — The Warwick-Valley Central boys’ lacrosse series had featured some instant classics over the last two seasons. Valley Central won on the road in the 2012 Section 9 Class A semifinals with a goal in the final minute of regulation. Earlier this season, Valley Central beat Warwick in overtime, 9-8.

The teams met again on a rainy Friday night in the 2013 Section 9 Class A semifinals, but this one wasn’t nearly as close.

Warwick’s Aaron Ackerman scored five goals and Brian Connolly added three goals and two assists as No. 3 Warwick topped No. 2 Valley Central, 12-4.

Check out the video above for highlights and interviews with Ackerman, Connolly and Warwick defenseman Brandon Donnellan. Pick up Saturday’s paper for a story about the game.
