FC Bayern Youth Cup stops in Ellenville: Video

ELLENVILLE — A group of 75 soccer players got an opportunity to learn a bit of soccer technique and also a bit about the German language and culture on Tuesday afternoon at Ellenville High School.

The FC Bayern Youth Cup, part of the German Soccer Adventure Program, a joint venture of Auf Ballhöhe, a non-government organization, and the German embassy, came to Ellenville High School for a skills competition for players age 12-16. Ellenville was one of four sites in the United States to host the event this year, joining Chicago, Portland, Ore. And Bemidji, Minn.
