VIDEO: Fleming, Leach-Miller OCIAA champions

James I. O’Neill senior Davis Fleming captured his second Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association singles title, defeating Cornwall’s Lucas Arora 6-3, 6-0 victory.

Fleming, a champion as a freshman, won the final 12 games of the match.

Cornwall’s Dan Leach and Mike Miller defeated Cornwall’s Paul-Hudson Erwin and Andrew Shin 6-2, 6-0 to win the OCIAA doubles championship at Match Point Tennis in Goshen.

Leach, an eighth-grader, won his second straight title. He and Miller advanced to the finals with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Pine Bush’s Tyler Dupee and Aidan Hrynda.

Hudson Erwin and Andrew Shin beat top-seeded Matt Alvarez and Mike Doulin of Cornwall 6-4, 6-4.
