State rankings: Chester returns to top 10

The Chester boys basketball team rose from 12th to ninth in Class C in Tuesday’s weekly rankings from the New York State Sportswriters Association. Marlboro dipped from eighth to 14th in Class B after Friday’s 76-60 loss to Red Hook. But note that the Raiders are now ranked in Class A.

Here are the top three teams in each class, along with all represented Section 9 teams. Find the full state rankings here.

21. Pine Bush (12-1)
