Boys basketball Class B-D all-state: Section 9’s selections

Two players from each Section 9 boys basketball champion from Class B to D earned all-state recognition from the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Marlboro’s Xavier Oliver headlines the group, making Class B all-state third team. The senior forward led the Dukes with 12.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists en route to Marlboro’s first state finals appearance in program history. Marlboro’s Tyler Jollie earned all-state sixth team.

Chester’s Justin Feldman made Class C all-state sixth team for the second straight year. Teammate Wilson Jimenez earned honorable mention.

Below are Section 9’s all-state players from Class B to D. The NYSSWA will publicly release all-state selections next week for Class AA and A.

Class B

Third team: Xavier Oliver, Marlboro.

Sixth team: Tyler Jollie, Marlboro.

Seventh team: Camron Abalos, Spackenkill.

Class C

Sixth team: Justin Feldman, Chester.

Honorable mention: Eric Block, S.S. Seward; Wilson Jimenez, Chester; Austin Uhl, John A. Coleman Catholic.

Class D

Honorable mention: Noah Clemmons, Eldred; Andrew Halloran, Eldred.
