Goshen’s Elston, Port’s Quarshie lead local XC All-State selections

Goshen’s Olivia Elston, who placed second in the state Class B championships in November, and Port Jervis’ Kaylah Quarshie were both named to the All-State Class B first team. Elston will continue her running career at Syracuse University.

Third team: Jessica Pidgeon, Monroe-Woodbury; Jennie Prial, Warwick.
Honorable mention: Danielle Bartolotta, Warwick; Julia Hoyt, Monroe-Woodbury; Sarah Trainor, Roosevelt.

Class B
First team: Olivia Elston, Goshen; Kaylah Quarshie, Port Jervis.
Fifth team: Hannah Mellino, Cornwall; Morgan Serkes, Goshen.
Sixth team: Sydney Decker, Cornwall; Meredith Hickman, Cornwall.

Class C
Honorable mention: Allyson Lyle, James I. O’Neill.
