2017 OCIAA golf tournament: Kleeschulte champion

Scott Kleeschulte continued Kingston’s run of champions at the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association golf championships Monday.

For the fourth straight year, a Kingston golfer captured the OCIAA title as Kleeschulte shot a 5-over-par 75 to edge Valley Central’s Dylan Barone by a stroke.

Kingston junior Jake Hommel was the two-time defending champion. Kingston’s Justin Theilig won in 2014.

Kleeschulte is the second member of his family to take the OCIAA tournament. Doug, his older brother, won in 2008.
