2017 OCIAA boys tennis early round doubles results

Top-seeded David Salazar and Troy Steiner of Newburgh Free Academy advanced to the OCIAA semifinals with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win over Cornwall’s Emil Vyskocil and Reilly Chin Wednesday at Match Point Tennis in Goshen.

Salazar and Steiner will meet their teammates Jack Clayton and Matt Reinhold in the semifinals at 9 a.m. Friday at Match Point. Clayton and Reinhold won a three-setter (6-2, 3-6, 6-3) over Cornwall’s Paul-Hudson Erwin and Nick Lee in the quarterfinals.

Monroe-Woodbury’s Zach Price and Colin Gordon play Warwick’s Pearse Algiere and Dean Redmond meet in the other semifinal.
