2018 Section 9 Boys Soccer Brackets

Monroe-Woodbury, Minisink Valley, Rhinebeck, S.S, Seward and Mount Academy earned top seeds in the Section 9 boys soccer tournament.

Monroe-Woodbury (15-0), the state’s No. 2 Class AA team, seeks its first section title since 2015. The Crusaders have allowed just three goals this season.

Minisink Valley (8-4-2) clinched its first OCIAA division title since 2005. The Warriors have won one section title (1992) in their program’s history. Defending Class A champion Goshen, the fifth seed, travels to No. 4 Red Hook on October 22 in a rematch of last year’s section final.

Rhinebeck (12-0) is the 10th-ranked Class B team in the state.

S.S. Seward is the defending section Class C champions.

Mount Academy, the four-time defending section champions and No. 3-ranked Class S team, shared the state title last season.
