2018 Varsity 845 Football All-Star Package

Running back Amin Woods is the fifth Cornwall recipient of the Varsity 845 football player of the year.

Woods, a junior, stepped up his game in the postseason, rushing for more than 1,000 yards in five games, helping Cornwall to a state Class A title. He is the first Cornwall player to win the award since quarterback Mike White in 2012.

Marlboro’s Brian Beck earned Varsity 845 coach of the year honors. In his first season as head coach, Beck led Marlboro to the state Class B semifinals. Beck is the first Marlboro coach to earn the award since Dennis Burkett in 1984.
