Washingtonville junior and defending champion Gabe Castillo-Sanchez will have get past his younger brother, Lucas, if he wants to reach his second straight Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association singles final.
Gabe Castillo-Sanchez, a junior and top seed, defeated Nathaniel Nesbitt of Port Jervis 6-0, 6-0 in a quarterfinal. Lucas Castillo-Sanchez, a seventh-grader, beat Kingston’s Bradley Hack 6-3, 6-4.
Cornwall senior Dan Leach and Newburgh Free Academy’s Troy Steiner will play in the other semifinal, which starts at 9 a.m. at Match Point Tennis in Goshen.
