State thoughts: Seniors leaving legacy behind

Mike Raccioppi’s second-place finish helped Minsink Valley to second in state Division I team standings. Damani Burns became the first Newburgh Free Academy wrestler to place in the state in back-to-back years since Taylor Laraia (2009-10). Burns went 4-1 at 132 and placed third. He finished the season with a 46-3 record.
