Carmen Congelli named MHAL softball player of the year
On some days last season, Manhattan traffic kept Carmen Congelli from getting from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center to Marlboro High in time for softball games.

Goshen goal-scorer Esposito headed up north to play in college
Star Goshen striker Dan Esposito is going from one powerhouse to another.
Esposito, who led Goshen to consecutive Section 9 Class A titles (2008-09) will play at Division III national player SUNY Plattsburgh next year.
