Grace makes HV Empire State lacrosse team
Warwick senior goalie Mike Grace made the Hudson Valley Empire State lacrosse team.
Grace, the Varsity845 Player of the Year, will represent Section 9 lacrosse when the games begin on Wednesday, July 21 in Buffalo. Not many Section 9 lacrosse players have ever been chosen for the team, so this is a huge honor for Grace.

Dolson selected to USA U18 national team
Congratulations to Minisink Valley center Stefanie Dolson, who was selected to the USA U18 national team Sunday in Colorado.
The UConn-bound Dolson was one of 12 players to make the team from the 26 players invited to try out.

Burke names new girls basketball coach
Matt McGinnis has been selected to replace long-time Burke Catholic coach Bob Turner as head of its girls’ basketball program, the school announced Friday.

Ariana Parker named US Lacrosse all-American
Kingston senior midfielder Ariana Parker was named a U.S. Lacrosse all-American.
She is the first Section 9 girls’ lacrosse player to make the all-American team. And the first player to ever be nominated.
Parker has played varsity lacrosse for four years and led Kingston to its fourth consecutive Class A championship this season.

Warwick falls to Lakeland Panas
MIDDLETOWN – Maybe next year.

Niskayuna defeats Saugerties, 17-1
