Marist men chosen for last again in MAAC hoops
Marist College was picked to place 10th in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in a preseason polling of basketball coaches.
Siena received nine of the 10 first-place votes and was chosen to finish first. Following the Saints are Niagara, Rider, Fairfield, Loyola and Saint Peter’s tied for fifth, Canisius, Manhattan, Iona and Marist.
Marist opens its second season under coach Chuck Martin on Nov. 14 at Rutgers.
