Local graduates perform well at Army’s Dick Shea Open

A host of Section 9 graduates participated at the Dick Shea Open. Two notable storylines were the return of Robb Quiller and Opeyemi Ifafore. Quiller, who attends Binghamton University, made his first track appearance at West Point since the recent passing of his father, former Army track coach Jerry Quiller, and tied for the win in the pole vault. Ifafore, a Pine Bush graduate, attended West Point as a freshman but has since transferred to Mount Saint Mary in Newburgh.

Host Army, Mount Saint Mary and SUNY New Paltz were the local colleges that competed.
