Nine freshmen to start Army hockey opener on Friday

When Army opens the hockey season on Friday, coach Brian Riley will be relying on a host of newcomers. Seven of Army’s top 12 forwards and two of their top six defensemen will be freshmen. Four other plebes will not dress for the contest with Nebraska-Omaha in the IceBreaker Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
