Garrett Thul has been selected by Hamilton in the third round of the Major League Lacrosse draft being conducted Friday night. Thul was the fifth selection in the third round and 21st pick overall.
Thul, a senior from Flemington, N.J., is a senior attack. He is a three-time Patriot League all-star, a third-team all-American pick last season and a tri-captain for this spring’s team. His 39-match active goal scoring streak is the second-longest in the nation. He has 122 career goals, just 18 behind Academy record-holder Scott Finlay (Class of 1978).
Army defenseman Brendan Buckley was picked in the seventh round, with the 54th overall pick, by the Boston Cannons.
