Clemons, Michigan State win Rose Bowl

Brandon Clemons, a 2011 Delaware Valley (Pa.) graduate, is a Rose Bowl champion.

Clemons, a redshirt sophomore nose tackle, made two tackles in the second half for Michigan State in a 24-20 victory over Stanford on New Year’s Day in Pasadena, Calif.

Clemons, who entered the game without a tackle in his career, combined with Darien Harris to drop Stanford running back Tyler Gaffney for a 1-yard loss in the third quarter. He and Taiwan Jones brought Gaffney down after a 4-yard gain in the fourth quarter.
