Johnson Wagner, a 1998 James I. O’Neill graduate, is playing in his second Open Championship at Muirfield this week.

Wagner’s long birdie putt from back fringe runs a few feet past ninth hole. He makes par for 2-over 38 on front nine.
Wagner starts back nine with five straight pars. He bogeyed the par-5, 15th hole and birdied the par-5, 17th hole. He is seven shots behind clubhouse leader Zach Johnson, who fired a 5-under 66.
