Some late-night/early-morning tracking of Johnson Wagner at the Open Championship at Muirfield.
Wagner, a 1998 James I. O’Neill graduate, teed off at 1:33 a.m. EST Friday for his second round. He started play at 2-over-par and in a tie for 47th place. He’ll probably need to shoot around 2-over-par to make the cut.

Wagner birdies the par-5, fifth hole and is even-par for the tournament. He’s currently tied for 21st.
Wagner makes his first bogey of the second round on the par-4, sixth hole, back to 1-over.
Wagner rebounds with par on the seventh hole. He birdied the par-4, eighth hole to get back to even-par. But, Wagner made back-to-back bogeys on No. 9 and 10.
Wagner made par on seven of his final eight holes. He took a bogey on the par-4 14th hole.
Wagner finished with a 1-over-par 72 in the second round. He is 3-over for tournament right on the projected cutline.
