Halftime: S.S. Seward 34, Hammond 22
Seward is 16 minutes from a state title.
Key thing in this one: Seward is simply killing Hammond on the glass, at both ends of the floor. Kathleen Folkl has basically grabbed every rebound opportunity she’s had.
The Spartans have taken care of the basketball, too – they have just five turnovers.
Not as big a Seward crowd as I thought there would be – maybe half the bleachers. But they are loud.
