Rozario, Devine lead locals at Footlocker Regional
Brendan Devine of Monticello placed 58th in the seeded boys’ race at the Footlocker Northeast Regional held at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.
Devine finished in 16 minutes, 32.8 seconds. Klaus Schmidt of Red Hook was 126th (17:09.3). Matt Dunham of Saugerties was 135th (17:14.4).

Warwick boys second at Nike Regional, still headed to Nationals
State public school champion Warwick, running under the Purple Wave Track Club banner, placed second to Shenendehowa, running as the Clifton Park Track Club, at the Nike New York Regional race at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls. Both teams are headed to Portland for the Nike Nationals next week.

Indoor track season opens Nov. 30
West Point’s Gillis Fieldhouse is available for more high school track and field dates this winter, says Section 9 coordinator George St. Lawrence.
The season opens next week with a pair of non-scoring meets on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
The divisional format will be used for the second season in a row.

Cornwall’s Ryan has two high seeds for state swim finals
