Section 9 champs head to field hockey states
Section 9 class champions Pine Plains, Rondout Valley and Kingston will head to Lakeland High School on Saturday for state quarterfinal playoffs.
Pine Plains (18-1-1) will take on Section 1 champion Pleasantville (12-5-2) in the 1 p.m. Class C matchup. This is the sixth consecutive season that Pine Plains has reached the regionals.
