Class 9A track: Steamy day at M-W (updated at 5:21 p.m.)
The Section 9 Class A track and field meet is well underway at Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley. The skies are cloudless, the sun is hot and the temperatures are hovering around 80 degrees. For the first time in six days of title meets, there is no wind to speak of.

It’s Championship Week in Section 9 track and field, starting with today’s Class B meet at Kingston’s Dietz Stadium. The Class C and D meet will be held Thursday at Tri-Valley High School in Grahamsville, and the Class A meet will be held Friday at Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley.
