Rains wash out Section 9 playoff soccer

Field hockey playoffs start this week
The field hockey playoffs get underway this week with the Mid-Hudson Athletic League tournament. Next week, the Section 9 tournament (with many of the same teams) begins. All matches will be hosted by the Hudson Valley SportsDome in Milton.

Greibesland out for season
Warwick standout distance runner Lillian Greibesland ruptured the Achilles tendon in her right leg during Saturday’s race at Pepperdine University, and will miss the rest of the cross country season. She will likely miss the indoor track and field season, too.Read more about it in Tuesday’s print editions.
