The Jim Taravella Invitational boys’ basketball event at Monroe-Woodbury High School is STILL ON today.Cornwall and Burke Catholic are playing during the lunch hour, followed by S.S. Aisling Cuffe of Cornwall placed 12th in the Footlocker national cross country championship race held in San Diego on Saturday.Cuffe finished in 18 minutes, 3 seconds, just 41 seconds behind champion Jordan Hasay of Arroyo Grande, Calif.Cuffe was the second finisher among sophomores, and the fourth finisher among representatives from the Northeast team.Girls’ finish1.
