Seeding for state girls’ swimming championships
Newburgh Free Academy freshman Brittany Friese is the third seed in the 200-yard freestyle and 500 freestyle for this weekend’s state championships in Rochester.
Monroe-Woodbury freshman Morgan Fairclough is the sixth seed in the 100 backstroke. Washingtonville junior Colleen Larkin is the seventh seed in the 100 butterfly. Washingtonville senior Morganne Klein is the eighth seed in the 100 breaststroke. Warwick diver Shannon McNamara is seeded ninth.
The top seeds and Section 9 seeds for the state swimming championships on Friday and Saturday in Rochester. The state-meet record is in parenthesis:
