Warwick’s Greibesland headed to North Carolina State
Warwick Valley senior Lillian Greibesland has accepted a full scholarship to run cross country and track for North Carolina State University — she will have a signing ceremony at the high school later this week. This has to be a big relief for the distance standout, who has faced a long recovery from a torn Achilles tendon suffered in the fall of 2008. She looked super at the OCIAA girls’ championships on Saturday, winning the 1,000-meter run going away from Monroe-Woodbury’s Megan Patrignelli.
