Baldwinsville wins in OT (3:40 p.m.)

(3:40 p.m.): Adam Lauko scored on a 20-yard shot from the left wing with 8:16 left in the second overtime period to lift Baldwinsville to a 2-1 victory over Clarence. The game lasted 101 minutes, 44 seconds. The Bees advance to Sunday’s 1 p.m. final against either Scarsdale or Brentwood on Faller’s grass field.

(3:25 p.m.): End of first overtime, Clarence and Baldwinsville still locked at 1.
Skaneateles is up 4-2 with under 2 minutes to play.

(3:22 p.m.): Class C semi Final: Friends Academy 5, Madrid-Waddington 2.
2:35 left in first OT, still tied at 1, Clarence and Baldwinsville.

(3:13 p.m.): Fourth minute of OT, still deadlocked at 1-1.
Skaneateles still leads 4-1 with 12 minutes remaining.

(3:05 p.m.): We have our first overtime contest of Semifinal Saturday as Clarence and Baldwinsville head to extra time knotted at 1. Upcoming are two 15-minute sudden-death overtime periods, following a 5-minute break period.

(2:58 p.m.): Clarence has tied its match with Baldwinsville, 1-1, on a controversial goal with 7:46 to play. The Bees’ keeper had the ball knocked out of his hands and Anthony Calarco was credited for knocking in the loose ball. There’s 5 minutes left, game tied at 1-1.
On the grass field, Skaneateles leads Akron 4-1 with 26 minutes remaining. The goal by Akron was the first against Skaneateles in playoff action this year.
With five minutes left in the Class C semifinal, defending champion Friends Academy owns a 5-2 lead on Madrid-Waddington.

(2:49 p.m.): Skaneateles has gone up 3-0 on Akron in the Class B semifinal. Kevin Rice scored off a pass from Jeff Higman. Next up for the Lakers is a finals date with Burke Catholic or Northeastern Clinton.

(2:10 p.m.): There’s plenty of scoring action in round three of the soccer action at Middletown. The sun is out, the temperatures have warmed into the mid 50s and it feels pretty good out here.
Skaneateles scored just 1:23 into the contest and added another in the 34th minute to take a 2-0 lead on Akron in a Class B semifinal. The winner advances to take on either Burke Catholic or Northeastern Clinton.
Baldwinsville just scored with 3:58 to play in the opening half to take a 1-0 lead over Clarence in a Class AA semifinal.
Friends Academy scored two early goals for a 2-0 lead over Madrid-Waddington in a Class C semifinal on the upper grass field.
In an earlier game, Chazy completed a 5-0 win over Fort Ann in a Class D game.
