Chip Elliott was named new Goshen football coach, replacing John Mardyniak, at the July 14 school board meeting Changes we already reported: Kingston: Jeramie Collins replaced Tom Loughlin Wallkill: Brian Vegliando replaced Dave Der Cola Newburgh: Bill Bianco replaced C.T. Chatham Washingtonville: Don Clark replaced Tim Johnson Burke Catholic: Ed Van Curen replaced Jeremy Beamon Liberty: John Wilhelm replaced Jim O’Connor

Two more football coaching changes, one coming

Ed Van Curen replaces Jeremy Beamon as head Burke Catholic football coach. John Wilhelm replaces Jim O’Connor as head Liberty football coach. Van Curen and Wilhelm were assistants on those staffs last year. Pending board approval July 14, Chip Elliott will coach at Goshen, replacing John Mardyniak.
