Fans like Players — Golf fans flocked to watch NBC’s coverage of The Players championship. The third round on Saturday delivered a 2.8 overnight rating and 7 share, a 33 percent increase over last year. Sunday’s final round produced a 4.1/10, the best numbers since 2004 (4.1/9), and a 21-percent increase over last year (3.4/8).
