NBA D-League, ABA games head to Versus
Basketball fanatics are probably aware that NBA TV carries action from the minor-league circuit, the D-League (short for Developmental League). Well, Versus will be adding a package of late-night Saturday telecasts starting Jan. 16.
Jan. 16 — Fort Wayne at Sioux Falls (11 p.m.)
Jan. 23 — Los Angeles at Sioux Falls (11 p.m.)
Jan. 30 — Bakersfield at Idaho (11 p.m.)
Feb. 6 — Reno at Rio Grande Valley (11 p.m.)
Versus will also be carrying a weekly game from the American Basketball Association (no, not the one that Doctor J made famous). Like the NBA D-League, these games will appear on Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m. starting Jan. 16 through at least Feb. 13. The actual matchups have yet to be determined.
