The annual Giants-Jets preseason game will be one of 11 games televised by the national networks this summer.
NBC has two games, including the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 8, pitting the Bengals and Cowboys. ESPN has four games, including the Aug. 16 Giants-Jets game at the new East Rutherford stadium. Fox has three telecasts and CBS has a pair. None of the networks will televise games from the fourth week of preseason (Sept. 2-3).
The Jets will play at Carolina (Aug. 19-23), host Washington (Aug. 26-29) and play at Philadelphia (Sept. 2-3). The Giants will host Pittsburgh (Aug. 19-23), play at Baltimore (Aug. 26-29) and host New England (Sept. 2-3). Those six New York games will be televised locally, though no stations have been announced yet. In recent preseasons, WCBS-2 has carried the Jets and WNBC-4 has carried the Giants.
