Renegades sport new announcer, same radio network for 2010

The Hudson Valley Renegades will continue their relationship with flagship radio station WBNR (1260-AM) in Fishkill this season. All Renegades games will air on WBNR, WLNA (1420-AM) in Peekskill and WGHQ (920-AM) in Kingston, as well as online at
The Renegades will have a new radio announcer this season. Nick Gagalis, 23, has called action in the Cape Cod summer baseball league for the past three years, for the Brewster Whitecaps. He also called various sports action for the Boston University closed-circuit student radio station, WTBU, including the national title run by the B.U. men’s ice hockey team in 2009.
“It’s awesome for me with my first year in Minor League Baseball,” Gagalis said. “I’m looking forward to all the lessons on and off the air.”
The Renegades open their 17th season in the Class A short-season New York-Penn League on June 18 at Aberdeen (Md.).
