WINE and WPUT to air handful of NCAA football games

WINE (940-AM) in Danbury, Conn., and WPUT (1510-AM) in Brewster will air a number of college football games this season — their day-time signal in the Eastern portion of the THR coverage area is pretty good but the quality may fade the further west and north you travel. The nighttime signal is a bit tougher.
The WINE/WPUT college football schedule:
Sept. 18: Texas Tech-Texas, 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 30: Penn State-Michigan, 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 27: Penn State-Michigan State, TBA
Nov. 27: USC-Notre Dame, 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 4: Oregon State-Oregon, TBA

WINE and WPUT will also carry additional games as an ESPN Radio affilate, as will ESPN 1050 (WEPN 1050-AM) in New York and WCKY (1530-AM) in Cincinnati. Here is the ESPN Radio network schedule (each affiliate can choose whether to air the game):
Sept. 4: LSU-North Carolina, 8 p.m.
Sept. 6: Boise State-Virginia Tech, 8 p.m.
Sept. 11: Georgia-South Carolina, noon
Sept. 18: Clemson-Auburn, 8 p.m.
Oct. 30: Florida-Georgia, 3:30 p.m.
Nov. 18: UCLA-Washington, 8 p.m.
Nov. 25: Texas A&M-Texas, 8 p.m.
Dec. 4: Big 12 championship, 8 p.m.
Dec. 18-Jan. 10: Twenty-two of the 31 bowl games
