It’s a couple weeks late but Time Warner Cable is about to roll out some “Cable 6″ high school football games of the week. However, the games will be aired on digital channel 199 for the time being.
The Monroe-Woodbury vs. Newburgh Free Academy football game from Oct. 15 will be shown on tape delay on Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 11 a.m.
The Port Jervis at Middletown game on Oct. 23 will air live at 7 p.m., with replays on Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
There is no word on who the announcers will be for the telecasts.
The schedule “is fluid” says a Time Warner spokesperson, so there could be additional games added. Also, Section 9 teams may appear in TWC playoff coverage from Kingston and Syracuse.
Also, Time Warner has not made a decision on the future of Marist College basketball telecasts as of yet.
